24 Hour Sponsored Squash Marathon
3rd – 4th September 2010

Biddenden Squash Club is supporting the charity ‘Help for Heroes’ by holding a 24 hour fund raising Squash Marathon. There will be a number of squash competitions and events during the 24 hours. Opening the event on Friday evening at 6pm will be an England Professional Player; there will be a doubles tournament, junior competition and a team tournament. Taking part will be teams from Biddenden Squash Club both juniors and seniors, The Army and Kent Select Junior Team.

The main objective is to raise as much as possible for Help for Heroes by keeping a squash ball moving on court continuously for the whole 24 hours, yes all night too! Come and join us in raising money for our soldiers and show them how much we appreciate them.

From 11am – 5pm On Saturday 4th September Biddenden Recreation Ground Outside Biddenden Squash Club.

Members of all the armed forces will be attending with stands and displays including:

  • Falconry Stand and Displays Face Painting
  • Golf Challenge –Prizes include– 4 ball at Chart hills, 4 ball at Weald of Kent Golf and Junior prize of Pitch and Putt and Archery
  • Army Stand
  • Navy Stand
  • Air Force Stand
  • Vintage Military Vehicles – The Kent Imps
  • Help for Heroes Merchandise

There is an evening function on 4 Sep 10 for Squash Club and Tennis Club members only, including permitted guests starting from about 1830 ish. This will include a HOG ROAST and Music.
